After years of work experience in the sliding glass door business, in June 2017 I asked my father, Merlan Sr. to go into the sliding glass door business with me and he said yes. One month later in July 2017, my father passed away suddenly.
In 2019 I founded Merlan's Sliding Glass Door Repair LLC, about two years after my beloved father passed away. I will never forget the day when I asked him to work together with me and he said yes. He was thrilled at the idea of naming the business after him and using his face as the wizard logo.
I schedule the appointments and I do the repairs. Yes, I work out in the field replacing the rollers, locks, and handles on Sliding Glass Patio Doors with my assistant. I use Stainless Steel Rollers (on most doors). I make sure the rollers are aligned and your slider is square. We clean the bottom tracks as best as we can and we lubricate the tracks, top, and bottom, with Aluminum Lubricant, not WD-40 or Silicone. I make sure your sliders roll with ease. The single pane and double pane sliders will roll with one finger. It's Magical🧙♂️ I use my heavy-duty Stainless Steel Rollers for the Double Pane and Hurricane Impact sliders.
